Kenya Kanga are developing a selection of products to complement the basic Kanga wrap. These include bags, flip flops and kaftans all made from the same bright and very distinct material.
Kenya Kanga employ five staff who work as tailors as well as helping with the ordering, administration and marketing of the kanga collection. As a young Kenyan company the future looks good with increased demand for a wider selection of products becoming a common trend.
Already Kenya Kanga are selling items in the USA where they are supported through grants and purchasing by a USA charity. With the connection to The Africa House it is hoped that the growth of Kenya Kanga in the UK and Europe will develop quickly providing greater employment opportunities for Kenyan staff. The benefit of this guaranteed employment on the staff and their immediate families is highly significant.
